The Spirotechnique has sold the end of the production of regulators Mistral and the license of exploitation to
Beuchat in 60's. The metal plate was replaced by a label and the serial number was marked directly on the regulator can. The hoses were thinner and of lower quality, and the mouthpiece was made of hard plastic. There were 2 generations and 2 versions of Souplair regulator. The 1st generation looked like a Mistral.
This is the 2nd version of the 2nd generation with brand ESPADON
(after the dispute over the trademark Tarzan against the Metro Goldwin Mayers
- MGM).
It is a upstream single stage double hose
regulator.
